Ms. Godfrey really is not that bad a teacher.

I wonder if the results would be any different if Nate tutored a different student.

While I’m not against Mrs. Godfrey’s effort here, I wonder if this will cause Nate to want to try even less in the future

Why would he hate her? If her plan worked that means he passed which means he wouldn’t get something like summer school, hello Nates brain hello hello

B tier strip, pleaaaaase don’t tell me the rest of the week is just gonna be Nate talking about how Mrs. Godfrey tricked him

I like her face here I wonder what the next strip will be

The question remains, did Chester pass or is he going to beat Nate to a pulp?

BUT—answer the basic question now: How did Chester do? You have spent 8 panels dodging the question already.

So a good score for Nate but he still gets beaten up? Wonder what Chester’s score is.

Once again coming from the woman who docked Nate a point for having his name off center on a final that he would have otherwise gotten a 100% on and thus boosted his grade a full letter.

You have to credit Mrs. Godfrey for that, Nate should thank her for doing that so he would not have to go to summer school

I knew this was gonna happen. Mrs Godfrey loves torturing Nate and other kids, and that was just one of her other plans for her to SUFFER. And I can see an example why Mrs. Godfrey is the Satan of Nate Wright.

When is summer coming? Like seriously I thought this stuff ended weeks ago.

When he grows up he will realize Mrs. Godfrey was a great teacher and changed his life for the better. Happened to me with my 4th grade teacher

I’m learning to settle with imperfection… or at the very least, my best, when it comes to looking at life.

Idk, this one is not funny. Either Godfrey used Chester to scare Nate (horrible) or Nate is being dumb instead of thanking her for rescuing his summer (stupid). Either way, this isn’t funny.

Ok I must admit this was a good arc, it was actually funny and pretty good plot twist at the end

First Daphne now Mrs Godfrey. Looks like more and more people can see Nate’s potentials. Is this leading to another big change in Nate’s life?

Nice twist in the Nate/Godfrey relationship. Peirce convinces us that Godfrey is not a good teacher, then pulls this.

Ok, I admit this was good thinking on her part. But she still left him alone with a violent bully.

And she subjected him to fear, abuse and bullying to make it happen. Everybody saying how smart she is, nope this was repulsive. If this is the best she can do then she should retire.

Yeah, typically I don’t classify Mrs Godfrey as “brilliant”…
