    Two of the problems with marrying late in life is, first, you already have most of what you need for a household and, second, a lot of the older relatives who would have been good for some really nice presents have died.

    Cheer up, Cathy. By the time you get married another 15 years from now, everything the saleslady suggested that you’ve currently got for your house will be broken, missing, or just plain worn out so you’ll be able to get all new stuff for your house right along with the new husband!
