It’s been a while since we’ve seen Ralph in his ranger gear…

It’s not a “selfie” if you ask someone else to shoot it.

Ralph is technically correct here.

Hey, you asked for a SELFIE! What’d you expect? Power play, Roger!

And then all he got was a nose.

Ralph has it exactly right. When my wife and I are in that situation (typically for a special occasion in a restaurant), we usually phrase the request as, “Would you mind taking a picture of us?” Saves us from getting those confused looks from the waitress.

Selfies are such a narcissistic thing to do (considering these days they want to be in practically every photo they take) and a terrible form of photography. Considering a mobile camera uses a wider angle lens for most things, a selfie is rarely flattering compared with a properly taken photo. I suppose that does depend on who is taking the proper photo (I’ll concede). I’ve never taken a selfie and don’t feel the need to do so. I’d rather photograph the world around me
