Just got back from a trip to Yellowstone National Park. At the end of the first day we were there, we ran into a traffic backup going out the West Entrance Road. After it started moving again, we saw the cause: a black bear (kind of cinnamon/gold colored) was walking next to the road, and everyone one was stopping to take pictures until a ranger stationed himself along the opposite side of the road and kept the cars moving (I admit my carload would have stopped, but nobody had a camera ready). Maybe it was Gunther on his way back from work. According to rangers I talked to the next day, this bear had taken to doing it just about every day for quite a while. Same ranger told me that, in spite of the color of his fur, he was a black bear. We might have encountered the tail end of one of his backups the next morning (someone I talked to later that day said they saw him), but if he did cause it he had moved away by the time we got there. Did run into 2 bison backups that day, though.

He has a travel agent to tell him when and where to sleep? Stone lazy. But nothing new there.

Right, Gunther. All that moving around during the week should be unnecessary!
