Other than to set up the unfunny joke, why in the world would the doctor tell him to open his eyes? Bad writingm as usual.

Here’s a question: who filled out the hospital paperwork? Joel can’t read or write, and Rufus can’t even form a coherent thought right now. Do hospitals just admit people without getting the most basic of info from them? Or is Jim once again dumbing everything down to a kindergarten level for his readers?

Okay, let’s transfer Rufus’ brain into Becky’s body and be done with it.
