Don’t get too excited. Curb your enthusiasm.

It’s a good thing you can’t see my house from the street. It has less than zero curb appeal.

The house is screened by a rise immediately off the street in our nearly 300 foot driveway which then plunges down towards the house. Our driveway runs down between two other houses that are about 75 feet apart. We have about 35 feet of “frontage” on the street: enough for the driveway and mailbox.

As you come down the driveway, the first thing you see is the garage, trash cans, air conditioning units and utility meters.

However, from inside the house all you can see is forest and lake. In the winter time, with the leaves gone, you can see a couple of houses across the lake.

He looks like a headstone in a burial plot.

Recently updated conveniences. (Pay raise, new vehicle, generous life insurance, etc.) Oh, and location, location, location. (Doesn’t make sense but had to be included for the sake of silliness.)

The grassy patch with the curbs is reserved for cool bachelors only!

Stay off the grass, unless invited…..

If he puts forth that much effort, he deserves a closer look.

Beware: Astroturf = fake personality.

Cute.

Little did he realize that it was the indoor “spot” for the dog to use on rainy days.

Unfortunately, the lights are on but nobody’s home.

Curb your enthusiasm, ladies.

Maybe he is on a diet and just went over there to curb his appetite. :)

Until you see him once a week on the treelawn hanging out next to the garbage cans.
