Believe it or not, I actually own this particular strip — it’s in my Cathy 20th Anniversary collection!

Why’d Cathy become black and white in the last two panels? Is that supposed to mean the windows are tinted?

And I thought I was the only one waiting for that particular model — I hate driving; in fact, I don’t even have a driver’s license (because I never bothered to get one!)

I’ve never had so much as a driving lesson! With my eyesight, they’d never let me loose with a licence. But the advantage is that while my OH is concentrating on the road and the other traffic, I can enjoy the scenery.

Wow! I just bought that car … and I’m making no apologies! Comfort is good!

Oh just go with what feels right, Cathy! The baloney about being afraid to get old is ridiculous. When our 13-year-old Honda Accord finally gives out someday, something like this will probably be our next car! What the Hell?!?! No shame here on our part wanting a more comfortable-feeling car to ride around in as we’re getting a little older every year!!! ;-)

Hi Cathyites!! My husband buys the sedans, I drive a Mini (and I don’t like the new Bully Minis). I’ve always been attracted to small cars that use a lot less gas. It’s quite comfortable, and since I’m usually the only one in it, it works fine for all the driving I have to do (25 miles to work). We actually drove it to South Carolina back when it was new (it’s almost 8 years old w/ 124,000 miles now).
