Don’t think us older folks need that much extra warmth, Broomie.

I’m so old, and I’m so cold, and that South wind, is mighty bold.

Here in S. Florida the temperatures have been over 95 degrees every day. Even Broomie won’t need all that padding!!

You didn’t get anything to make sure your nose doesn’t get cold, Broomie?

That shouldn’t work, since all that padding does is hold in body heat, and according to what she says, she shouldn’t be producing any.

Considering her age, I think she may be right on! LOL

About the time I start sweating, my wife will remove her hoodie. Pushing 100F the 4th and 5th. Happy days.

I’m guilty of that but I’m not saying I’m old ….

It’s going to be in the high eighties to low nineties here today. Ugh.

geez…just like my mother. we are there sweating and she goes around with AT LEAST 3 SWEATSHIRTS IN POLAIR!

My mom who practically grew up on Laurentian ski slopes eventually ended up in DC area and wore a sweater if it went to 50° F

She’s still having hot flashes at her age?

I sure hope that kicks in soon. I have never been able to handle the heat, anything over 70 degrees is too hot for me.

—Nothing like a nippy summer day! Really.

I wonder at what age that kicks in. I’m 67 and I can’t stand days that are 90 degrees or above. I prefer temps in the 60s.
