Morning mollie05 and hendelca — I have no problems with your advising caution. Yeah I know I’m pushing. It’s just something I always do. I’m testing my upper limit. I’m not reaching it, yet. It’s about a mile and a half into town with hills and straight lanes. I’m not above walking my bike along if / when I get too pooped to ride.

KFG I did see your long post from last night. You’re right though, it’s not there any more. It was the last post of the evening for a while, up until I went to bed.

I left you a note on Saturday. Dunno if you read that far back when you arrive on Monday.

Oops, forgot to say hi lindz.coop I use Icy Hot. Aspercreme didn’t seem to reach deep enough into that ache. Icy Hot lets me sleep through the night. Usually.

I knew it!! And then they brag about which buyer was the biggest sucker, and they carry around the sales guy who got someone to buy the paint protection plan. Aack!! But I do want to see this new car too…You’re not that early, Mr. Early Bird (19 and 2 minutes ago, although I’m now going to read yesterday’s posts…)! This is my last week to sleep in a little. School starts next week and I’m back to my usual posts around 8:15am or so. I’ll miss the little rascals and it’ll be hard to get up earlier, but I’m looking forward to having some time alone.@ lindz.coop – Bats! Eek! They creep me out!! Yes, I know they’re probably more scared of me, and they are beneficial by eating bugs, and the scary stories about them are mostly not true, but, like snakes, they still creep me out. As long as they are in their home, and not mine, I like them just fine. Brave husband you have there…Oh, I also meant to say days ago that it is cool that you’ve met Cathy’s mom! How was she? Ouch! Just re-read my post from last night. The deserts posted were actually kind of dry, the desserts are the ones that looked yummy! One of the hazards of posting after midnight! Good afternoon fellow Cathy nuts! The strip illustrates very well why I prefer to purchase my vehicles from a dealer that does not haggle over the price. What is posted is what you pay. Much less stressful. Watched the final moments of the landing of Curiosity on Mars. Still get choked up at how we humans can do such complicated tasks on worlds so far away.

What kind of salesman would tell their customer they’re having a party after they sign? I agree with Susan, I’d crash the party too :) lol….Ok so I’m going to re-type my long post that I intended to leave last night…here goes……Here’s an update with what I’ve decided to do…..I’m coming home on Friday, going to see the chief of staff at the hospital and tell him I won’t be coming back until next year (maybe)…..then talk to my landlord and see if a friend of mine (who’s going to school) can live in my place while I’ve decided to live in Chile and work at the clinic….I signed a 12 month lease and can’t just move-out…..I’m also giving my sister my car for now….I found a place to live in Chile w/ another doc (she’s from Mass. and has been here for 2 years) it’s close to work, so I can walk…..when I called my mom and told her, she was surprised, but happy for me and will come to visit soon :)…….Did I leave anything out Aaron?….

Hello to lightenup. Jr., Dr. Billy, Aaron, LMB, Gretch’s Ma, Susan, lindzcoop, viperdude, hendelca, mollie, bronzepony, and all the other wonderful Cathy nuts :)

For one brief, shining moment, I thought Cathy might have had enough sense to tell the salesman “You know what? I’ve changed my mind! Take this over-priced-new-car-lease-agreement and shove it!” But no . . . the nut-job craziness that is our Cathy continues on!!!!! Apparently, all the good advice her mother was trying to give her (for a change!) just went in one ear and out the other! Oh, well. Given that . . . you might as well add me to the list of people who can’t wait to see the disastrously expensive mess she’s gotten herself into this time too!!!!!

Aaron: Hope the rain has abated and you’re feeling better today!!!!! Wish you could send some of it my way. It’s just as dry in Indiana as it can be these days!!!!! B/t/w: Don’t you dare listen to K.F.G.! Keep sending those delicious-looking dessert pictures (along with their recipe websites) our way! I may have to live vicariously through you in order to have them . . . but I bookmark each and every one with the full intention of fixing them myself one day!!!!! ;-)

I felt the same way as Cathy when I bought my new car after my husband died. Salesman was not doing anything to make me feel like I got a fair deal and I walked out feeling like I was taken advantage of.

Aaron, I hope you continue to get your exercise on the bike rides.

If the humidity is lower tomorrow (it was high today ouch ouch) then I’ll show off my [limited] baking skills. Drool away. Remember when you make these, you can cut the sugar by 1/4 to 1/2. Americans love super sweet desserts. I’d rather taste the fruit, which from what Mom bought today, looks perfect.

Maybe as she suddenly decides not to sign, Cathy should yell “In your face, sucker!” and shove the piece of paper … well, in the guy’s face.

Come to think of it, that’d make for a pretty funny comic. Too bad “Cathy” has gone to reruns.
