How old is this one? Most people I know have long get rid of their player and DVD stack. (But I still use mine an even my old tapes, so who am I to judge…)
It’s only a couple of hundred dollar item. Be careful in saying No so easily as something may come on the market that you may want or need in the future and need his approval….
Once an ex-bf and I were watching Star Trek or Star wars, whichever had Spock and Kirk in it. The Klingon talk went on too long, and eventually I said it sounded much like Spanish. Beagle #1 had stepped on the remote and changed the language and we didn’t notice the change at first. She was a smart dog.

Educational, Jill. Watch a movie and learn new languages at the same time.

We have a DVD player. We only use it at Christmas to watch some of the movies.

I once watched a Kung Fu movie where the actors were speaking Chinese, but the audio was dubbed in German, and the Subtitles were in English…

Lighten up, Jill, what’s wrong with trying something new? And yes, I’m well-aware of how old this one is.
