He should have asked the dentist if the dentist had any spare teeth he could take home.

Hammie, you have a lot to learn, there is no tooth fairy, no easter bunny, no santa clause. Your parents lied to you, and in doing so have taught you that it is actually ok to tell lies. Part of that do as I say not as I do reaction so many parents adopt, as it is so much easier than taking the actual time to talk with their children.

Darryl has a lot in common with King Charles…they’re both new to the crown.

Somehow the tooth fairy will be just fine.

How could Darryl deprive his kids of that wonderful sight?

I had six teeth removed this morning. I am getting dentures so I have been having them taken out a few at a time. The six hadn’t been painful (except a front one that was so sharp it kept cutting the inside of my lip), but it made sense since 2 were off by themselves without upper teeth to work with. The dentist said we could take all of the teeth at once, but I thought that would be too much trauma at once. The anesthetic is slowing wearing off now and I am regretting my decision. The pain isn’t from the holes themselves though. It is from my top teeth (where I have them anyway) hitting the holes (well the gauze in most places). I also look like I just murdered someone and ate their corpse. I have health issues and with my teeth being so bad I have continued wearing a mask when I leave the house for appointment. Today I wore it even in the car home. Even with the gauze I look diabolical. I am going to have a fun (*not fun) few weeks.

Dad probably had to pay the tooth fairy for the repair. Last time that happened to me, it cost $100 to have a crown glued back on.
