point taken, Chalkie
no one thought of “beer taster” ?
Work just doesn’t work for Andy.
If any worked half as hard at working than he does at loafing, he would be loaded!
My uncle has been working on a cigar for about ten minutes now, and it stinks.
Just “working” on mooching booze!!
Not working is hard work. And takes up a lot of time.
Andy may work from a brewery as a beer tester!
working on a bar-stool
My ancestors were farmers, so working at home is natural for me.
Flo works – can’t Andy work there, too? (sorry – SILLY ME!)
You hit the nail right on the head, Chalkie.
Is there any work you would like to do, Andy?
Andy could not work at a brewery as a beer tester. Be sotted after two hours, fired and Chalkie would have to wheelbarrow him home.
Would a Cleric working from home be a Telly Televangelist or a Telly Vicar?
It’s taken Chalkie that long to figure that out?
Andy will work on Chalkie to provide him a pint or two…
The hardest worker in England is Andy Capp…’s liver.
Andy, you’ve done well. You’ve contributed to a fine generation of non-workers.
I would love to see a comic arc where Adny is forced into working a job and how he handles it.
Maybe if we called it something fun he might give work a try. Who am I kidding, work by any other name is still to be avoided by Andy.
Working on upper body strength. — arm-twisting for pints, raising said pints to the mouth, etc.
I’d work from home if I could but I don’t have the capacity. It would be a big hassle. Our house doesn’t even have a spare room.
Well, I technically do work from home doing online surveys/studies. If that counts. Haha.

Andy loves work. He can sit and watch it all day.
Sadly, working from home isn’t an option with some occupations.
Let’s face it, Andy considers work to be a four-letter word!
That job wouldn’t be a good idea for Andy. I can envision the headline in the newspaper:
“Brewery worker drowns in vat; climbs out three times to go to the loo.”
