Such a simple thing, a cape, and it can lead to so very much fun! Add in the energy of a puppy and kitty, and they are good to go until they crash for a while, smiling in their sleep.
Reading this comic strip – I can picture the action leading up, and then after. It’s like the strip is a split second in time. I can’t remember another comic that made me see it as more of an ongoing action. Just pictures to go with the words, usually, to me.
Kids do that all the time. When I was little (dating myself), I put a diaper on my head and pretended to be Sister Bertrille.
This comic really lifts my spirits, especially now. Hospitals are boring, even when you know you’ll be home in two weeks or when you can walk the length of your house.
They’re the newest superheroes since Underdog and Super Chicken. Hubby’s cousin will start singing the theme from the latter’s cartoon whilst I cluck in the right spots.
Thanks for this strip, Nancy. I need the giggles as Caturday TV is boring, especially in a hospital. You have the same name as my aunt, who died recently of cancer.

Furbabies became 1st in my cartoon strip lineup. I don’t foresee this changing any time soon! What a find!
