Garfield is a masterpiece all by himself!

A Garfield is a bit like a force field.

And he does it well!

I would just call it “A cat”.

So do my kitties and they sure hate it when I come along to claim my chair.

I once thought that cats were masters at laziness. But, actually, they’re usually quite active. What with stalking and attacking, pouncing and biting, shredding and the hiding, its a full time job. Why, cats need their rest. Afterall, they only have 9 lives.

If that’s true I’m pretty sure Garfield is to laziness what Da Vinci was to painting

Still life? How about no life?

If laziness is art then acitivity is masterpiece.

Garfield is the Picasso of laziness.

I call it cat shedding hair, which I have to clean up.

Very easy to draw or paint because Garfield won’t budge for hours.

Lazy cartoonist.

Laziness is one of Garfield’s good features.

There was also a Calvin and Hobbes strip where Calvin attempted to recreate the famous ‘Nude Descending a Staircase’ portrait, only to get sent back into the tub by his mother.

Ahh wait til you try the “Irish yoga” exercise.

Laziness is an art, and Jim Davis has mastered it. Dude’s on autopilot with his strip.

Someone, put this in a museum! It’s better than most Modern Art pieces.
