Mother Gargoyle can’t be a cicada. Cicadas only visit once in 17 years. Mother Gargoyle seems to visit every 10 days!

I just noticed that Brutus seems to be sporting a thin mustache. I’ve had at least a mustache for most of my adult life, though now I’ve added a goatee, all gray and most impressive.

Mother Gargoyle chirps like a cicada? I would have said cackle like a crow.

Ahh yes, the never ending drone of Mother Gargle’s voice. While she may be trash talking Brutus to whomever she’s talking to, at least she isn’t flinging fiery barbs at him; something to be appreciative of.

Hilarious! Especially Brutus’ look in the 3rd – what we used to call an “S.E.G.” !Brutus wishes she would be a cicada and only come around once every 17 years!

I guess Brutus would like if his mother-in-law would only show-up seventeen years apart. Sorry, Brutus.

It is about time for the cicadas to return. I don’t know about other parts of the country but here in Georgia, an alternate name for them is “July flies.”
