ICK;  Ahhh, Memories… Maybe next year, you could dress Petey up as Little Neuro. I think he might suddenly become parade ready.

At least they are memorable.

Just another noisy day. At least this year it didn’t extend past the fourth.

So last year’s fireworks were gastric then.

Unfortunate potato salad is a bit redundant.

Memories are made of this-n-that!!

Such happy memories. Someday, you’ll laugh about them.

…ick?… I heard her,, she said “Ick”… it must be pink, duck shaped potato salad…

Isn’t that the way family holidays are supposed to go? One debacle after another? Where is the fun in everything working out perfectly?

Another normal family holiday.

Children sure can give their parents a lot to talk about, and scratch their heads wondering “Where did we go wrong”.

“ Memories, Way We Were, The memries, like the corners of my mind. Misty water-colored memories – of the way we were. Scattered pictures…”

The pictures just don’t do the fireworks justice. They never do.

The 4th of July is always a blast!!

Husband Peter (very tired) and wife Madeline (too optimistic to be true) sit around the kitchen table, looking at photos and discussing (sort of) the Annual Disasters.

Few couples are blessed with such reliably disaster-prone children as Petey and Alice….
