Old Ben was a very open libertine and heavy drinker.

In his time there was nothing at all illegal about moonshine. At least not once the Brits were evicted.

White lightning may have helped Ben go “early to bed and early to rise”, but it also gave him a huge hangover.

I’ll have to look for his label next time I’m at a liquor store!!!

Ben’s distillations had electrifying results.

We still don’t know everything about this endeavor of his.

The crazy old guy with the kite and key act was just a diversion.
