This doesn’t seem right. They look like they are working and straining (too much). Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of the reason for sitting?
And the gold, silver, and bronze medals go to the audience members who actually managed to sit there and stay awake for this competition.

I’m from the USA. The final round would definitely include USA… and the dude would be MUCH LARGER.
There should be a requirement to drink at least one bottle of beer per hour.
Sadly, as I find myself getting older even sitting for extended periods can be challenging. I would not do well in this competition.
I still won’t watch baseball. I think even this would probably be more exciting.
With those two countries, it might be a sitting on the fence competition.
Not a fair competition, the French guy has probably trained in a European Stressless chair, not a Lazyboy.

I remember when they sat on dirt and it was unsportsmanlike to lean on a tree. For a few years, they sped things up by sitting in a swamp with mosquitos and alligators.
