Bob Wharton (Bbear) supposedly just sent me a friend request on Facebook. He died how many years ago? I get the feeling the friend request didn’t come from him.
Apparently these two clowns have forgotten what happens to kitties who go downtown.
I might get SIX foster kittens today. They’re some of Susans’ rescues and have been with a woman who lives about30 min north of here. It’s hard on her to take them back and forth from PetCo. I’ll know later this afternoon how many will be coming here for a week. All of the cat toys arrived yesterday. Today I have to go through them an either cut feathers off or just toss the toy. I don’t let kittens have anything with feathers; I’m always afraid a quill will get stuck in a throat or mouth. Same for any tiny bell that might be attached to something. Blackjack tested their new play cube yesterday and deemed it acceptable for kittens.
The kittens are back in the living room and wandering around. Their names are: Loki (tuxedo male – has a home), Marshmallow (tuxedo female – has a home), Hagrid (black with a white tummy – tentatively named and needs a home) and Thor (black male with just a touch of white – I’m keeping him).
Smudge and Mouse are still not reconciled to having to stay inside unless they are on a leash, as they are refusing to wear harnesses.
At least Jack should know better after his adventure with the pound. 12 hour day trip yesterday up towards Carson pass/Tahoe, I am so enthralled with our raging rivers and wet green meadows, many covered with wild iris. With a big heat wave coming next week, my favorite canyon drive may be closed as the river is nearing flood stage and has already covered a few campgrounds. If it’s open I’m going back.
BTW……the 26th is Monday….can we expect a new arc then? These oldies were goodies and lots of fun. I hope Graham accomplished ALL he needed to and also had some relaxation.
I don’t know about rosewater but I do you like to spritz my sheets and pillowcases with tea tree oil infused water. Dust mites don’t like it and it smells nice
Can’t say I blame Annie. That was just plain obnoxious. I’m surprised she didn’t send them to the loading dock. On another note, saw a sparrow, five spotted towhees, a rabbit, and a squirrel while out walking today.
