Hopefully it’s one of the old monster movies in black & white. The original Godzilla is a real hoot! If you’re going to go retro, you might as well go the whole way.

We still have drive ins here on the suncoast of FL. They had a resurgence during the pandemic. Nostalgic and a lot of fun but with extreme heat advisories out with temps not getting below 80 at night (upper 90s to 100 at day) with a heat index of 10 or 15 degrees higher I think I will hold off going back until October or later when and if the weather cools down. I guess you can run your AC but man that is a waste of gas and the air quality has been poor in this neck of the woods already with the lack of rain and haze.

Got a gift card for the local ice cream stand. Boy was the price a shock! Have to check the bill to see if they added a parking fee.

I wouldn’t be able to go to a drive-in, even if I wanted to.

Looks like that ice cream is going to be a lot more expensive in NYC now that there is proposal to require all the ice cream trucks to be electric. You have to hand it to NYC, they sure know how to handle all those important problems first.

How is this retro? That never happened. It’s just cheap.
