Amaretto is flavoured with peach or apricot pits, and they call it almond flavoured. That’s why it tastes awful.

Almonds and peaches. Living together. End of the world as you know it.

Some hybrids have edible fruit. You can eat the fruit, then crack open the pit and eat the seed — although the seeds probably contain a fair amount of cyanide.

What do you call them? Alches? Peamonds?

Eating an almond is essentially the same as eating a peach or plum pit. I imagine that it tastes a lot better , though.
