Morning mood by proxy! 8^ )

Amazing!!!!!!!

I’m one of those. Love getting up at 4am. Peaceful time. And living in Florida, if you plan to walk or run outdoors, better do it before the sun is up.

And play it for her at sunset.

I’m usually up between 3:30 and 4:00 a.m. whether or not I want to be. My wife gets up a bit later and by 5:15 to 5:30 a.m., we are out on our bike ride for the day.

Part of it, right now any way, is because of the heat. It was 109F/42.7C yesterday and the local weather prognosticator indicates today will be the same. Sigh.

My wire often texts me a picture of the sunrise while Im still in bed. Mostly i dont look at it till i get up.

One is either a morning person or not.

I suffer from chronic insomnia and Early Morning Disease, and rarely sleep past 4:30 am. Work days, I wake my wife up at 6:30 and 6:45 and 6:50 … She has to log in by 7 am. Can’t see the sunrise, too many big trees.

I like mornings too. They’re just a bit early in the day to suit me.

I love sitting out drinking coffee watching the sunrise and listening to the birds.

I am up at 6:00 AM EVERY morning because those who rule the house (my dogs) demand to go out to do their business, no matter what the weather is like.

Sounds like me and my wife.

My wife and I are opposites on sleep schedules. I typically go to bed around 10 p.m.; she is anywhere between 1 and 4 a.m. I am up by 6 every morning; often around 4:30. Adjusting our schedules when we go on vacation is hard on both of us.

I’m DEFINITELY team Janis on this one.

It’s an experience that you just can’t capture in a video. You got to live it…..

Janis may not be a morning person, but it looks as though she’s still up before Arlo.

I worked for over 40 years getting up before well before sunrise, and felt like crap and was always sleepy, especially in the afternoon. Now retired, I don’t get up before 9:30 and I feel great all day.

If they live anywhere in the southeast it is not cool in the morning. It is hot and humid at 6 a.m.

I’m glad so many people sleep late. It makes the quiet more enjoyable for the early birds. I’ve noticed that loud people tend to stay up late and early risers are usually quiet.

It’s the best time to get outside on the screened porch and do my daily bible study.

I wonder, did Arlo use the word ‘cool’ to replace the word “nude”?

Fortunately, my hubby and I are both early risers. We try to get out and walk just after sunrise, before things get too warm.

Arlo gets up early because it is the only time of the day he has genuine peace and quiet.

No one talking, no one correcting, no one giving assignments, no female dog impressions, no complaining, no judgements….. just blessed peace and quiet.

I’m with Janis; I admire the sentiment, but would rather not participate myself.

My wife loves early mornings. Me, I love sleeping in until at least 9 a.m.

As Frank and Ernest say, and I agree with them wholeheartedly, “Get up at the crack of dawn, stuff the crack up, go back to bed.”

My ex-wife is an early bird. I get up as late as I can and still get to work on time whether in clinic or telemedicine. Present wife of 27 years works from home and gets up earlier but does not hold it against me. But this morning I was awakened by the meezers shouting for food when there was food still on their plates. Little beggers, and the whole clowder then cried and got chopped chicken and liverwurst (for cats)

My poor husband is an early bird and I am a night owl. I can get more work done between 10pm and 2am than I can during the daylight hours. I have tried to force myself to be an early riser, including taking 8am classes all throughout my collegiate years (all the way through a Ph.D. – lots of collegiate years). Alas, to no avail, I am by nature a night owl!

I am SO with Lois on this one.

My motto, which I got from my dad, is “If God had wanted you to see the sunrise, He would have scheduled it later in the day!”

Janis got a Lil Kink going on…. LOL

My husband is 70 and still working 2 jobs, by choice. I retired at 65 three years ago. I am with Janis.

I’m with Janis. Not a morning person and never have been. And gave up trying
