All those new pills. I take two aspirins with food and lots of water. Usually good enough for 12 to 14 hours of less pain. And, don’t laugh, Bengay works……take that Phizer.
If you’re older like me, try bending your pinky at the knuckle nearest the nail. A lot of people can’t bend it and don’t even know it. It’s a form of painless arthritis that attacks that joint.
I like to make my doctor laugh when he asks me how I’m doing. I tell him “My poop floats (enough fiber intake), my pee is basically clear (drink enough water), and I’m looking down at the grass/snow”.
My left arm was hurting yesterday, probably because of the pickaxe work of the last few days. [In a rare case, Firefox’s spellchecker approves pickaxes, but not pickaxe]
I personally think that ‘Spell Checkers’ are as useful as those ‘GPS’ units in cars. Have been with friends that use them and we have gotten lost numerous time using them. I, personally when I am traveling, get out the ‘ol trusty road atlas’ and consult the map. Plus, I also look up where I am going on ‘Google Earth’ and plan my route with it and the map ! ! !
My left knee and right foot are both swollen and sore, so I gave in and took a scooter at a store the other day. By the time I got done shopping, my neck was sore from looking up at the shelves…can’t win for losing, lol.
My left ankle hurts on and off and I need to rotate it until it pops. I fell off a curb while running with a class in high school and tore “something” in the ankle.
In 3rd grade I had a virus in my left leg and every now and then it bothers me – but just a little.
Though the left collar bone I broke when I was 3 (bouncing on the bed with dad sitting with me and mom at the foot of the bed) does not bother me at all.
Other than these 3 on and off problems (and mostly off) nothing hurts – pushing 70 and extremely NOT athletic.

Part of the issue is having a 25 year old brain in a 65 year old body. Tis hard to slow down to avoid pain but I’m learning ;-)

I have often said that aging is an extreme sport. The older I get, the more I am proof.
