My cats disappeared when the fireworks started before dark. They could have come inside but prefer to be scared outside where they can see what’s going on. They came in at 4:00 a.m. this morning singing the “I’ve Been Out All Night and All the Food Bowls are Empty Blues”.

    Cats!

We have two indoor/outdoor and two indoor cats. (both sets a male and female) Everybody doesn’t get along and there is always tension and drama during the winter when everyone is inside. When the fireworks started last night not only did everyone come in but all 4 cats were with me in the same room. (They love my wife but I have always been the protector from storms and loud noises). There wasn’t a peep out of anyone the entire time while there was tension due to the fireworks, they were all very relaxed about each other. first time I’ve ever seen that.

Fargo and Pippin are obviously very frightened. Pippi shows once again you gotta watch out for those cruel, 6-toed cats. And Pippi has good grip control as well.

So that explains why Pippi’s whiskers are so jagged!

This is classic Pippi, eliciting Fargo’s and Pippin’s typical behavior, (especially around her). I keep thinking of what must be Pippi’s spirit animal, and that she acts like a honey badger in drag. That or she’s just mean.
