She got into treble after the concert.
A pony always fails opera auditions…

… or a Chrysalis. A cocoon would be for (Madama) Mothra.

Local operatic and theatrical companies have to take local talent.
butterflies don’t do cocoons. They do chrysalises.

I went to see an opera called Carmen. It was all about guys in an auto repair shop.
All operas should just stay in the cocoon.
Mr. Pedantic here again: butterflies emerge from a chrysalis, moths emerge from a cocoon. Big difference.

It’s better in Klingon or Japanese. If an opera full of racism and misogyny can be any good at all.
Their version of ‘Swan Lake’ was for the birds!
Their ‘The Nutcracker’ wasn’t what it was cracked up to be.
Their ‘Ring Cycle’ had a flat tire.
Well, that should disprove the theory that “all the world loves a larva”! d;o)
