I believe barn owls existed long before there were barns.

I would question the sanity of anyone who would sit in a hot tub in this heat. It’d be like a double boiler.

Originally, the strip was going to be about farm animals and called, “The Secret Life of Pigs”, but the syndicate refused because apparently nobody would relate to the country setting.

I left my granddaughter’s wading pool out to dry last night and found birds in it enjoying the tiny puddles this morning. I have a 1/2 acre pond 50 yards away but I guess this looked better.

Not to get too picky here (ok, i guess i can’t avoid being picky) but barn owls have white faces. https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Barn_Owl/id

A barn owl? No wonder the chicken looks worried.
