Buckles, this is the reason why Paul and Jill get you those squeaky toys, to keep you from chewing on their shoes.

This is not Buckles’ fault. It’s whoever left the shoes out for him, just like toys. Sometimes dogs train us. I learned to never leave shoes out with certain dogs. Present snoring beagle excepted. She has never chewed anything of mine, but I got her at age 6.

Buckles is adorable today!

My neighbor’s dog is that way too. She shredded so much stuff when I was doggo sitting I was afraid when they came back that I might have had to pay for it. Then he went away with wife at home and doggo ate one of his medical books. PHEW!

Why are dogs so attracted to shoes? Is it their owner’s smell on them?
