I do that .. but it’s mostly because it’s a way to ‘reply’ that takes much less effort (and time!) than composing & typing a response.

Every second saved on that is a second I can actually spend on my tasks for the day.

I thought Fritzi would be of the generation that just gives a thumbs up emoji for most eventualities.

Also of the generation that secretly thinks of them as emoticons, and doesn’t care about the difference.

Blame it on Nancy not being a coffee drinker. (“I never drink…coffee.”)

Could even be more senseless. Here on GoComics there is a heart that is blue on the right side that has numbers that keep going up. What’s up with that? People can’t even send a message using written words anymore?

Aunt Fritzi addresses Nancy with the following:

" DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE WORDS COMING OUT OF MY MOUTH ???? "

Nancy figures most of what Aunt Fritzi is silly and so of course Nancy agrees.
