Not exactly a typical Hallmark birthday card ☺

Thank you….not.

I needed to go to the grocery store. It was 106 at 9AM. It’s supposed to be over 108 all week, even 116. No way im going anywhere. The monsoon today totally missed this side of the valley. No more predicted….its Clean Out The Freezer Season! Starting with tonite I had meatloaf and French fries. Thankfully I have a couple of melons. It’ll get interesting when I work my way to the back where there is a couple of old pizza slices and not much else.

Nice use of colors for the birthday card.

Actually, it is my dad’s birthday. He would have been 109 today. I guess he doesn’t care that it’s his birthday because he died in 1990.

My wife is a cat lover. Today is her birthday.

Central Cal won’t see any sub 100’s till August! Several outages in my town, different areas. Old power company equipment is failing. Too much load and not enough upgrades. Feel sorry for folks who have no access to cooling facilities..not even a fan! Glad I have a rather large generator so I can at least run fans and my refrigerator! Stay cool friends. Gonna be a long summer!

I had a roommate whose cat barely acknowledged my existence. On my 40th birthday she hopped up onto my lap, put her pawsies on my shoulders and gave me a Birthday Hug (✿◕‿◕✿) Best Birthday gift ever!

Of course the cat doesn’t care. Cats don’t celebrate birthdays. They only celebrate Cat Appreciation Day, which is easy to remember because it happens 365 days a year.

I feel the same way about my birthday. Who the bloody well cares? I won’t even tell friends when it is, it was always the worst day of childhood.

Good thing this card appeared today. Otherwise somebody might have presented it to Montana Lady yesterday on Cleo and Co. !

Years ago I bought a get well card with a drawing of a cat on the front, saying ‘Cats know how we feel’. Inside it said ‘They don’t give a d**n, but they know how we feel’. I wish I’d bought a whole box of them.

Would someone please post the link for Cleo & Co. I’ve tried looking for it but find everything but the site I want.

That’s not a card I would like to receive. (Or give to anyone either, for that matter.) Still, the artwork on the front of the card is nice. On another note, saw two sparrows, six robins, a damselfly, two butterflies, and a junco while out walking today.
