How about we make the oil companies pay for fixing all the damage fossil fuels have done to the planet? …. Never gonna happen….

We all were willing to buy and use their products and they did what they saw as necessary to do to satisfy our wants. We need to change our buying habits, much like we stopped buying buggy whips.

The oil companies created this mess. Make them pay. Then, make the rich pay their fair share, both individuals and companies.

Yeah, I know it’s wishful thinking.

I think the oil lobbyists double as gun rights lobbyists also.

Every roof in Florida and Texas should be covered with solar panels. But both states are run by Republicans.

The worst of it is that, in spite of record profits, the oil companies still get subsidies from the government.

Are the oil companies still paying republicans to deny climate change or are unwoke anti science right wingers doing that on their now?

Folk are not about to give up flying or travelling by car/bus/truck, all alleged major contributors to climate change. Or, give up on using concrete, smooth roads, AC or plastic water bottles.
