It sort of depends I guess. Where I live, the golf courses are very similar to natural areas and require fairly little upkeep.
Convert them back to wheat or oat fields. Gather the lost balls after combining the course.
Eliminate golf courses and build dozens of women’s prisons for all the wives of retirees they will have murdered after having them underfoot 24/7!
