Every summer vacation we drove to San Diego to see my mom’s family. When we got in the car my dad would say “you better pee and you better eat, I’m not stopping till we get to Portland!” :D!

We literally plot our our route by rest stops so we always know exactly how far till the next toilet. The older we get, the more important it is. We even downloaded an app for it.

Don’t ask the question if you don’t want to know the answer.

As a new parent, you learn where the rest stops are for when your kids need ’em. A couple of decades later, the same knowledge stands you in good stead for your own use.
