Think global, act local, as we used to say.

Except now you need to act globally too.

The planet is fine. The humans are in trouble. The planet will probably be better off when humans go extinct.

Planet Earth is being ravaged by carelessness and this country is being ravaged by vengeful politics!

    God help us all! ☹️

Let worm in, out of that oppressive heat, before it’s forced to burrow underground and perhaps never venture back to Earth’s surface.

Like every other living thing may be forced to do a couple of centuries from now, with those species unable to do so failing to survive.

If our politicians would only keep their mouths shut (reducing global warming and global halitosis emissions) and focus on what We the People (not we the unions, corporations, and special interest) need and want, much can be achieved to save the nation and global issues.

Mr. Wiggly: Far right, at the door begging to be let in to safety.

…when [the] temperature gradient is reduced, for example due to an increase in temperature and humidity, your body has a harder and harder time getting rid of this heat fast enough. And it’s a poorly recognised fact that, just like paper, our vital organs have an equivalent self-combustion point – that is, a temperature that they stop working.

And that’s what humanity has to look forward too. Oops! Forgot to name my source; it is Donna Green at the University of New South Wales
