Tomorrow the house plant will cuss out Garfield for no reason. Plants don’t see reason.

In this heat, LOTS of leaves are dropping. Had to clean the gutters, yesterday.

Mulch it.

It’s not NICE to fool Mother Nature!

Garfield is not mother nature but he should act neighborly and do the tree a favor.

That and picking it up would be considered exercise, which Garfield doesn’t do…

Leaf suicide…

Between the 105+ days for the past two months, and the drought, leaves are falling all over the place here. At least we don’t have to mow the lawns, since they are burned to a crisp.

You won’t beleaf what the tree’s asking you for Garfield!

Oregon White Oaks shed stuff all year: dead flowers, branches, dead leaves, bunches of green leaves and acorns. It never stops.

Autumn leaves don’t fall, they gently glide ans marvel at their one chance to soar.

Careful Garfield, it could be a trap, I should leaf it alone.

Garfield would actually be “father nature”.

Beware: September is coming.

So tree, if you know that, why did you let that leaf fall?

If you still wanted it, why did you throw it away?

My property is heavily wooded, and I have a couple of trees that begin shedding in late August, but I am not really finished with leaf removal until early December.

Garfield, you are WORSE DISASTERS than Mother Nature herself.

Falling leaves obey a Gaussian Distribution pattern. First a few, than a lot, then a few again.

Maybe you’re Mother Nature’s Son.

He didn’t even take the time to give it Fall colors.

Sorry tree, I have had enough of 100 degree days! Sadly, summer won’t end around here until the third week of October or later.

Look more like Father Nightmare, but still, may I have my leaf back?

I was so surprised last week to see the maple trees near me changing to fall colors. Seems really early.
