Liz didn’t answer Jon. He asked “Would you love me more if I was rich and famous?” and she replied, “I love you just as you are.” She didn’t say that she wouldn’t love him more if he was rich and famous. I presume she meant that it didn’t matter but she didn’t actually say so.
I wonder which one of the regulars to this comment section is the most rich and famous. I am probably the most poor, I comment on a smashed Samsung Galaxy s2 powered by connecting wires to a lamp post and bootlegging the electricity. I live in a bin but still wear my suit every day.
Actually, Jon appears to be a bit rich and just enough famous. He makes cartooning profitable enough to care for a fat cat, puppy, a mess of mice, some spiders and the occasional visit by Liz and Nermal. I’d say he was doing right well.
Although the Four Yorkshiremen sketch predates Monty Python and originally featured Cleese, Chapman, Marty Feldman and Tim Brooke-Taylor, who wrote the bulk of it (it was credited to all four).
To be honest – no repeated artwork this time, generally just the way of life. I do like how this one gives off the simplicity of Seinfeld, and yet it quite shows Liz’s love of Jon. Quite good overall, I’d give this one a solid 7/10
Literally what I was told during a breakup twenty years ago. The part about being more rich and famous, that is. The rest of the conversation did not last long after that…

And we love Garfield just the way he is; poor (because if Jon is, he is too) and popular

May not be rich and famous but he does have a big kind heart and he always means well. A trait not to common these days.

Jon in our universe is rich and famous but he has the name “Mark Zuckerburg” instead of Jon here.
