Dougal Diesel looks more like a weasel, so he’s bound to get along with the ferrets next door. I’d vote for him.

I had a cat who was very devoted to me. If I called to him when he was on the other side of a field, he would come dashing toward me at full speed. When he got about 20 feet away, he would remember that he was a cat and finish the approach with an aloof sidle. :)

If you want a dog, get a dog. If you want a cat, there’s just something wrong with you.

Black cats are the best.
