He’s actually done it again! Peirce has made a legitimately heartwarming strip, with Nate showing some genuine maturity here, even emotional intelligence! She’s really changing him, huh? Once again these two are ridiculously cute and loving, Daphne in camp with the hearts, daww!!

10\10, not as iconic as the poem, let’s be honest, but a worthy follow up, and, for the first time in ages, a genuinely funny week with good story progression and different kinds of jokes instead of the same one repeated ad nauseum. Lovely!!

Seeing all the latest comics about him getting a girlfriend, Nate being more mature (caring less about his dad knowing about his girlfriend, being more subtle with Daphne) makes me think the comics might come to an end soon (stretch but i could see lincoln retiring after 32 years) so if he does retire and leave Big Nate behind, i wont be surprised.
