The word “dumpster”, first used commercially in 1936, came from the Dempster-Dumpster system of mechanically loading the contents of standardized containers onto garbage trucks, which was patented by Dempster Brothers in 1935. The containers were called Dumpsters, a blending of the company’s name with the word dump.
We are the richest country in the world and we allow our people who have encountered tough times to sink so low that they must live on the streets and or in Dumpsters. We have lost our sense of community and compassion.
Our attitude now seems to be “I got mine, you don’t count.”
How can he be trespassing if “ownership” is a specious concept? One can only trespass if someone else owns that area and clearly this guy doesn’t agree with folks owning anything.

Interestingly, he has no concept of “ownership” but has a concept of “trespassing” – I wonder how he reconciles the two.

When the Dempsters designed a truck to lift and empty dumpsters, they called it the Dempster Dumpmaster.
