I’ve had it explained to me that emotional/mental healing goes in a spiral and that sometimes one arc of the spiral dips lower than where you’ve managed to get to. Feels like backsliding, but isn’t really.
This too shall pass. I’ve been using a combination of herbs, Holy Basil supplement and a pinch of nutmeg in my coffee, Cloud and Townsend books and positive confession. A tiny bit of cannabis before bed helps calm my brain. If I start to feel anxious I change activities. I’ve been isolating because people just don’t understand HSP and think that pushing your boundaries is helpful, or they act like they’re the savior and victim all wrapped up in one.
