Of course they feel pain. Duh.

That little boy has a heart of gold.

Is Red using a hook but no bait? A better way to be kind to the fish would be bait without a hook.

That’s the way, Red! Play fishing and take care of the fish at the same time!

That’s why they call it fishing, not catching! Lol

Each day this strip reminds me why I just totally adore it. It makes me unspeakably happy.

Use bait and no hook… that way the fish get a free meal !

Red may also be squeamish about cleaning fish. He would need several to feed his family. And Rover.

So, I take it if your not using bait …. Red, then no need for a hook ……… Rover, you can even fish that way ……. :)

fish can feel pain Red, so thanks on their behalf for being so thoughtful.

But do worms feel pain?

But they do eat other fish!!

Remember as a kid a man caught a fish, and it must have had 3 or 4 hooks and cut lines embedded in its mouth. He threw it back, of course!!!

I hate catching fish and taking the hook put of its mouth.
