Love the Stickley chair! I’ve always liked the style but is it comfortable?

We had a new puppy when the kids were young. One morning we woke up to a scream! My daughter noticed the dog had chewed her NEW Hush Puppy shoes. ☹️

A fashion crime!

Sirius, leave the shoes alone!

When she was a pup, my Lizzie would hide my slippers ! No more, though. I guess she noticed my look of disdain.

Oh, my. That had me laughing out loud. We already know our characters (although they’re evolving before our eyes!)

I love Kate’s socks and shoes color. The girl rocks fashion. When my granddaughter Sarah was in school, many moons ago, she mismatched her socks as a fashion statement. I used to buy her two pairs of knee socks at a time so she could do that. I’m afraid grandma, me, aided and abetted her silly fashion sense. I miss those days.

Puppies will chew up a lot of unexpected things, given a chance. I left my year and a half old beagle in charge of a puppy and went to work. I came home to half a sofa and eventually needed a new mattress, too. The older beagle did help potty train the younger one, at least. She would ask to go out, the puppy would come running and go out, and the older one would just stay in and walk proudly away from the door. Over time, I learned the younger one had a small bladder and always needed to go out twice as often as the older one. The vet thought I was nuts. One day she was examining my dog, and she said, “Did you know your dog has a very small bladder?” I switched back to my previous vet around that time.

Can’t get blood out of a size 11…
