I do use algebra while baking!

Mental Discipline and as a tool for use in geometry, trigonometry, calculus and statistics. Even useful for when the kids ask, “Are we there yet?” You can use what I call the DIRT formula: Distance Is Rate times Time. If you know 2 of those 3 you can get the third. D = RxT. And you’ll know and be able to amaze them.

I took two years of algebra in high school. Never had a use for it.

If Heaven is supposed to be a paradise, why is this teacher being tormented by an irritating former student who never grew up?

Aren’t we using algebra every time we calculate how much an item is by the ounce or pound or inch, etc?

I use algebra in my job all the time.
