The ice cream truck hasn’t run around here in a couple of years.

It’s a 2011 rerun this Sunday, so I’m gonna whip up a lite fare from Granny’s cookbook.

Todays choice is “Catfish and Apricot Gumbo Soup”… Granny’s measurements take a little gettin’ used to…

A smidgen is just a teeeenie, tiny amount …

3 smidgens make one pinch.

4 pinches equal one little bit.

4 little bits equal one midlin’ amount.

3 midlin’ amounts equals one right smart.

5 right smarts make a whole heap.

The ice cream truck couldn’t meet him in prison, so he met the truck in person.

Watch him check back in once he discovers they are all out of “bomb pops” …

I haven’t checked yet, but I wonder if the ice cream truck rolls through the 55+ communities. The walker generation can’t run to catch him, but the Vietnam vet’s know how to bring him to a stop long enough to get a fudgsicle.
