as naughty as my little dachshund Limo is he doesn’t beg when I’m eating (or steal my food lol) I think it’s bc he gets plenty of tasty food emphasis on the tasty! Too many dogs have to eat the same old dry kibble day after day, no doubt very boring :/ I make his food with lean meats, vegetables, rice, oatmeal, eggs… and make him chicken jerky for treats!

If he comes back with it, are they gonna actually EAT it ?

For Wally, the “five-second rule” is “If you leave it around for five seconds, it’s mine!”

It should be … if you are able to put food on the table.

[Keeping it on the table is another thing.]

That’s great advice otherwise, Ralph. But with dogs, the rules are more fluid!

Guess who’s the rich one.

We had three doxies. We adopted Jackie, then her mother Annie and later Chewy. Poor Annie had been used as breeding stock. They sucked all the life out of her, but she had a good home for about 6 months. Chewy was pistol. She had back issues and jumped off the bed in the middle of night and that was it for her. Jackie had a good life with us. Our children were young back then and she was a good girl.

How noble of Wally, to save his people from all that cholesterol.

You’re not as rich with a hungry dog like that in the house.
