Some people go to an escape room to escape, which almost makes sense.

Dunno which, but one thing’s sure: Ain’t NOBODY get out alive…

Personally I took life as an escape from life.

Doesn’t matter. Life is fatal anyway.

When someone commits a crime, society punishes him by giving him free room and board.

I’d like to think this is life. It’s too beautiful (at times) not to be.

I feel there’s a Prison Planet joke here (other than the site itself), but I can’t find it.

In prison, you have no rights.

Having the food not be very good in prison is part of the price you pay for being there.

Everyone recognizes that things in this world are not the way that things should be. Christianity has the best explanation. We are meant for another world.

Before you try to escape, you should have a destination in mind, otherwise you will just keep trying to escape from one thing to the next and never find what you are looking for; since you do not know what it is.

That makes prison an escape from reality. Except… in California, the prison fare is “Heart Smart”. Gaaaah! (Tip of the hat to Don Martin).

Today’s comic makes for some deep thoughts.Like for example when I am working I don’t have time to think about personal stuff, doesn’t that make work escape. Only is that even possible, are we maybe kidding ourselves when talking about free time when not working, since how are you free when not escaping.Okay, now I confused my self! Maybe tomorrows strip will bring answers, it could even set me free…

I read comics for an escape.

It looks like Pig has a paper pipeline to The Almighty – I hope he shares with us in any answers he may receive to today’s question.

Comic strips are a form of social commentary. Stephan Pastis often gives us more to think about, on a deeper level, than some other comic strip creators do.

Folks, I hate to tell that this is the only life we have, so suck it up and keep going.

Alcatraz supposedly had really good food and it was all-you-can-eat. That was a disciplinary method. If you were punished, you lost dining room privileges, and were stuck with bread & water instead.

You have two choices, Pig. Unsuccessful escape attempts or live life as you make it.
