Former President Donald Trump took to his Truth Social account on Tuesday to demand that the indictment against him for the 2020 election plot be “withdrawn.”
“So now that I have full Subpoena Power because of the Freedom of Speech Sham Indictment by Crooked Joe Biden, Deranged Jack Smith, and the DOJ, it has just been reported that the Unselect January 6th Committee of Political Hacks and Thugs has illegally destroyed their Records and Documents,” wrote Trump. “This is unthinkable, and the Fake Political Indictment against me must be immediately withdrawn.”

Oregon Republicans barred from running for re-election after boycotting votes
Oregon Secretary of State LaVonne Griffin-Valade has determined that Republicans who have repeatedly boycotted legislative sessions will not be allowed to run for re-election, reported The Oregonian on Tuesday.“Griffin-Valade wrote that she views voter-approved Measure 113 as disqualifying Oregon lawmakers who received 10 or more unexcused absences during the 2023 legislative session from running for reelection in 2024,” reported Jamie Goldberg. “That was clearly what voters intended … Ballot language and media coverage all communicated to voters that the punishment for absences would impact lawmakers in their next term, not a later one.”

The Trump claim that they are trying to suppress his freedom of speech is preposterous. If that’s what they were doing, wouldn’t they go after is current rhetoric on TruthinessSocial, which is far more flagrant that anything said (in private) to his conspirators?
I think it’s funny that he thinks anyone is afraid of a giant lump of orange lard. Sure, we are afraid of what he can do to the country, but he fancies himself a gangster, which he is most definitely not.

We must never dismiss what he is saying merely because it sounds stupid or nonsensical, though it is – but it is also antithetical to American values and the “Rule of Law” we value here and CANNOT be just ignored – Trump is a deeply dangerous individual who’s utterances MUST NOT go unanswered…
One of Trump’s ardent supporters, Robert Beadles who financed quite a few Republicans state wide last election-only 2 won their election, is still on the “Trump won the election” crusade. He’s suing Washoe County (state’s second most populated county) to force them to use paper ballots in the next election. And change the county laws to suit his needs. The County DA (Republican) states he’s out of his mind.
