Technically speaking, Heart is right.

HA! This is even better. Little Miss “I just can’t see us together like that” quickly changes her tune, seeing others might be interested.

It would be ironic if Brent looked at Heart and then back to the other girl and says “Sure I will go with you.” glancing at Heart and saying “You had your chance….” This girl obviously likes Brent while Heart just needs a date and does not want to give Brent the wrong message. It is okay to go stag Heart, though Dana will be the first to notice you are solo.

Couldn’t have worked better if Kat planned it that way.

I wonder if Heart thinks Brent might be of greater worth than she realized, since others are asking him to the dance.

I seem to remember a lady who said that she did not want to go with a certain boy to the dance, that it was very strange, that she did not need to go with someone, what happened to all that?

Heart, you moron. This was your chance to grow apart.

Poor Brent. I’ve been the “safety” or “backup” guy. It usually doesn’t end well.

So the questoin is simple: Is heart REALLY intrested in brent and simply didn’t realize it… or is she simply intrested now someone else is? Also has this girl shown up before? I say this both because she seems to know brett and because Steenz has a habit of bringing minor characters back and expanding their roles eventually, like how that one friend of dana’s went from “Background guy we saw in early arcs with her” to “The center of a whole arc based around him being a jerk to kat”

Shoe doesn’t want to date him, but she does, but she doesn’t.

Why do I feel Heart was set up?
