Had 2 major eye surgeries in 4 months, retina reattachment. The post-op recovery was a bear, about 9 months. You have to sleep with your head in a downward position the whole time. A portable massage table came in handy to get 1-2 hrs. sleep. Keep a chair with a paper towel under the head part to catch your drool. You will get very little sleep and what you do get is from exhaustion b/c there is no quantity of quality sleep.
