A literal new school year.

I’m pretty sure Sally’s “friendship” with the previous school building had something to do with its eventual collapse.

Eventually he’ll learn to drop a brick on her.

She’s not a weirdo. She’s just…. peculiar or…. eccentric….

If you rebuild it, they will come…

Back when schools used to start the day after Labor Day…

Maybe the building was just high strung.

I wonder if the new school is related to the old school

I always thought the “talking” school building was absolute brilliance. in a comic filled with strange things, it was one of the strangest.

I thought we already covered that last year on that rerun and the new school said they knew the old school and had heard good things about her? Did Charles have a forgetful moment?

Oh yeah, I’d forgotten about that. But of course Peanuts was always known for its tightly plotted long form storytelling and ironclad continuity.

My elementary school was built in a very large lot. A new set of buildings was built on the far side and the old school was torn down to make part of the yard for the new school. Kind of strange to visit after the new building was put up.

I hope they (?) warned you about Sally.

The engineer’s report did mention a stress-fracture in the building that spread from a spot the exact same size as a little girl’s shoe…but that’s probably a coincidence
