My dad down in the bilge cursing and trying to fix the engine is what I primarily remember about boat ownership. Boat engines seem to be specifically made to never work.

Can a fuel filter get busted? A fuel pump yes, but a filter? Clogged perhaps.

If he drifts too far out he can send an SOS to the coast guard via seagull

A “busted fuel filter?” That’s easy, change the blinker fluid and it’ll run just fine.

Yes he is, most definitely…..

That can be bypassed. Not a great idea if there are possible contaminants in the fuel tank, but if not or you can keep the intake high enough it can get you back to harbor. Or, drift and see what happens!

He could use some help from a mermaid.
